i figured that i should have happier posts since its my favourite holiday season and all.
the annual xmas dinner was great! and finally, all the presents were great! no more awkward fake smiles and thanks. lets see i got a bimbo bag, a pen with my name on it, a necklace, nice slippers and hair moisturiser. as you can tell they think i'm the bimbo among my cousins. games were fun, pity everything ended a little too early for me.
the next day we went to the underwater world at sentosa. it was quite fun. i din't know they holding so many sea turtles captive! don't they know that they are endangered animals?!Anyways I realise the place was pathetically small, not worth the money. well, it wasn't my money, so, yeah it was okay. after that christmas was pretty borrring. next yr, i must plan in advance. merry xmas people.

why the hell do you always bring this up again and again and again?
i'm not proud of what I've done.
But do you have to always remind me of my mistakes?
it has been three years, but you always have to talk about it.
you always have to push me down to your feet.
do you feel superior now?
And I can never ever get mad at you
because in your eyes and in everyone else's, you are the innocent one.
and i'm the bitch.
i should have never told you the truth in the first place.

merry xmas everyone.

Out of touch with reality
There was nothing much in Taiwan to know besides from what you have been seeing from their variety programmes. in fact, their shows tell you more. the people were rather nice from what I experienced. plus, the whole 'act cute' way that they speak chinese comes so naturally that i finally accepted it. And could follow the way they speak it. I'm just still amazed that in 6 days, we covered taipei, gao xiong, tai zong, hua lien, zi ben, plus conquering many mountains. so obviously most of our time spent was sitting in the bus. I have to say, in this trip, I have talked the most to the other people in the tour group than i have ever done so. Also, i the experienced the sentence 'teenagers constantly feel embarrassed by their parents'. Many times had i wished that i got lost from my family in the streets of taiwan. i even felt embarrassed by my brother. The shopping was great! especially those night markets thing. Really fun, especially seeing what the local teens were wearing. remember, you should not go Taiwan during winter and expect many clothes to buy cos they all sell winter clothings. at first the weather was ok, then it got so freaking cold halfway. Didn't stop me from going into their hot spring tho. and that was too hot, seriously. their jacuzzi pools were much more fun. then i think i got too much water into my head that i jumped into the normal pool, which was bloody freezing. but it was fun. i miss swimming.
Also, don't go if you're a Christian or any other religion cos half the trip consists of going into temples, temple museums, fengshui consultants, and chinese medicine places. And the food! my goodness! just imagine taking in fats and oil for every meal. really gross. Luckily all my senses seem to have been frozen by the weather so I wasn't hungry at all everyday. My failure to keep my hair in top condition affected my feelings everyday. I can't believe I let my hair get so crappy and disgusting.
I conclude how fun every trip is by how much I miss singapore when i was there. And i really sort of missed this place when i was gone. i missed my friends, the shopping, the weather, and i kept thinking of the chalet that is to come. I even couldn't wait to come back and get a job as soon as i get back. The only thing that held me back was the fact that there was this cute guy in my tour group.

anyone notices that images on blogskins mostly come from somewhere called getty images?
i did and went to the site itself, trying to look for a wallpaper for my com. I din find any yet, but found tons of cute pictures, those of which i like more i would put on my blog (under the tagboard). The pictures will change weekly, or whenever i feel like it.
